The Varietease Cabaret is selecting one lucky couple* to be married/committed before a live audience within a zany burlesque show featuring Backdoor Aly, Mae the Bellydancer, Naughty Natanya, Maiden Sacrifice, The Great Twazu, Maria the Purple Goddess, The Honeybuns, DanYell, Lola Martinet
and many more!
Dearie Delicious, Minister of Tease, is an authentic, ordained minister perfect for marrying a couple of the open-mind. Complete with sexy flower girls, good luck toast and what would a wedding be without a showering of gifts???? Our ultra-sexy sponsor, Early To Bed has donated a few items for your hot, honeymoon adventures.

Here’s how it works.
1. Submit a short essay to chicagovarieteasecabaret@yahoo.com explaining why you are the ideal couple to get hitched during our show.
DEADLINE FOR ALL ESSAY SUBMISSIONS IS: JANUARY 15TH
The essay should clearly describe all basic information like how, when and where you met. Once the Varietease Cabaret Committee has selected a winning couple, phone and email contact will be made about details and arrangements for the night of the show.
The couple is responsible for obtaining the marriage certificate/license 24 hours before the 5 minute ceremony which will be performed in Hugen Hall at Strawdog Theatre, 3829 N. Broadway, Second Floor (where Halsted and Broadway meet) on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8TH, 2008 AT 10:30PM
*All couples and persons have an equal opportunity. Straight marriage will be performed legally by the ordained minister, should a gay or lesbian couple be selected, a commitment, non-legal ceremony will be performed. It’s ALLLL Good! Couples of all genders and races are encouraged to apply.
